SCS SB 155 -- Child Abuse and Neglect Reports Sponsor: Mayer This substitute changes the laws regarding the reporting of child abuse and neglect. The Children's Division of the Department of Social Services is required to expunge identifying information from reports by mandatory and all other reporters that has been found to be malicious, for purposes of harassment or retaliation, within 45 days after the conclusion of the investigation. For all other reports containing insufficient evidence of abuse or neglect, the division is required to retain identifying information for a period of five years, instead of the current two years, from the conclusion of the investigation.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
